Description

The Rapid Freeze-Thaw Cabinet is used to measure the resistance of concrete to deterioration caused by repeated cycles of freezing and thawing in water. This system is designed to test up to 18 concrete specimens at the same time, with one being in control.

Features include:

Fully automatic operation that allows the operator to perform other lab duties
Field control using correlations between strength of concrete and durability
Evaluation of variables in concrete properties and conditioning
The ability to evaluate the durability of aggregates, as well as the properties of admixtures
An electric temperature recorder
Stainless steel cabinet construction with insulated sides for corrosion resistance
Compliant with current ASTM C666 and AASHTO T 161 standards
